room was very large, probaly 500 to 600 hundred square ft. had balcony overlooking the main street. kitchenette with dining room. beds were pretty comfortable. staff was very helpful and accomodating. continental breakfast was excellent, toast, waffles, bagels,donuts,cereal, yogurt,fruit, juice coffee, tea, milk. felt very welcomed and taken care of there.

The staff was very nice and friendly. I was not impressed with the hotel itself. The room was spacious. The rooms interior felt old and not kept up very well. Lights in walk-ways outside and inside the rooms flickered constantly. The carpets were stained and worn. Sheets had makeup stains or hadn't been washed whiched grossed me out a little. I arrived around 10:30pm and wanted something to munch on before bed. I knew the hotel did not offer room service so I called down to the front desk asking if there was were any vending machines. The gentlemen said yes and instructed me to the only set of ice and vending machines located by the pool at the very front of the hotel (my room was at the very back). I walked all the way down there only to find they only had soda machines, no snacks. Every soda item but water was sold out. I was cold, disappointed, hungry and tired. The bed was hard and the neighbor across from me slammed the front door several times throughout the night. Dont' know if it was a door problem or a neighbor problem either way, I won't ever stay there again.

I stayed at the Coral Reef Hotel while passing through on my way up the coast. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was ok. Bed was a little hard. For the money this hotel is a good value in the Bay area. If I am ever in the area again and need a nice place for cheep I will stay again.

This hotel had nice scenery and a very nice location. It is not very accessible for handicap personnel and had a nice pool area. The staff were very helpful and really the hotel was pretty nice accept the floors are old and stained leaving you to believe that the hotel wasn't very clean, even though they did a pretty good job. the walls seem a little thin so be aware if you have small children.. You can hear more than you would like from other rooms but the hotel was nice other than those few flaws. It was arranged like a small efficiency apartment with microwave stove and regular or small refrigerators. We did have a nice stay and would stay again....
