Free shuttles; Free Parking!

The La Quinta Inn & Suites at Miami Airport EAST on Le Jeune Road was a difficult motel to find, by car, especially arriving from the north. You have to make a U-turn and come back around on N. LeJeune road and exit on to the service road. Otherwise, check-in to the motel took an enormous amount of time. The motel front desk is severely under-staffed and needs more help there. The motel does have a FREE airport shuttle and also provides a FREE shuttle to the Port of Miami. We used both as we had a Trans-Atlantic cruise to get to. Parking in their parking lot is FREE, but ONLY for a period of 7 days. Beyond 7 days, you must pay $* per day for parking. The parking lot does have cameras and security. We left our car there for a period of about 17 days, without incident. The room we were given which was 2 Queen beds was a small room, but the room’s condition was clean and orderly. The TV could have sat higher up, though. Surprisingly for the price we paid, there was NO refrigerator in our room. That was a disappointment! As for computers and the internet, there was one computer in the lobby, BUT you must pay about $* cents per minute to use it for internet use – an outrageous charge!! The FREE shuttle to the Port of Miami was behind schedule and didn’t pick us up until late. We were scheduled to leave at 10 AM; instead we got to the Port of Miami at 12 noon. When flying back from Europe, the FREE shuttle bus to the airport came much quicker and we didn’t even need to call for the shuttle bus; it arrives on the upper deck where departures

Great place to stay the night before a cruise. We walked to Bennigan's for dinner and drinks. Had a great night sleep and a decent continential breakfast. Hotel also provides free shuttle service to the port.

I WAS IN MIAMI FOR TWO DAYS WITH MY DOG THE PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE WERE ALL SUPER NICE AND THE SHUTTLE DRIVER ALSO THE ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND HOMEY FEELING I DID HEAR AIRPLANES FLY BY BUT NOTHING TO BE DISTURBED BY THE BEST THING IS THEY ALLOWED FOR MY DOG TO BE WITH ME AND THERE IS A GREAT GREEN AREA WHERE YOU CAN WALK THEM MY DOG ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED RUNNING AROUND THIS PLACE IN THE END THIS PLACE IS THE PLACE TO GO TO WHEN TRAVELING WITH YOUR PET :D
