The hotel is very pretty in the common areas and the room was nice. Good maid service, nice turndown with 2 chocolates each night. We did experience no hot water on 4 different times in our 10 days there. Watch the $ nightly valet fee. Just go park your car at the nearby $ lot like they do and keep your $. They have a ""raid our pantry"" feature that offers a plate of salami, cheese, processed ham and turkey, a couple of loaves of bread (not too fresh) apples and oranges and cookies. They do not change this variety at all. Very boring for a hotel of this caliber. I really expected more. Front desk is available 24 hrs, one outstanding employee who I am not allowed to metion, the rest couldnt care less. For the price, I would book elsewhere.

This is a nice hotel in walking distance of downtown San Jose. The restaurant is very nice and the ""Raid Our Pantry"" feature is a nice way to get a late night snack for free. My only complaint is that the hotel charges almost * a day for internet service. That is just crazy. They do have free wireless if you want to sit in the lobby. Easy access to light rail and then on to the San Jose airport.

I have stayed in San Jose a few times. This is by far my favorite Hotel. I love the restaurants so close to the Hotel and just a quick walk to HP Pavilion. My favorite part has to be "Raiding" the Pantry when i get back to the Hotel and this Pantry also serves a nice continental breakfast with a great seating area. The staff is very helpful and friendly and i always feel safe there. I was worried about the airplane noise but didnt hear a thing the entire night!

If you are attending any events at the HP Pavillion in San Jose, this hotel is only a short walk away. The staff was very helpful answering questions and making recommendations. The Guadalupe path is close by for a nice running location. There were always cookies and fruit available at the front desk and the free ""pantry"" had good snacks in the evening.
