My husband and I brought our small, well-behaved dog. We didn't have a great choice of rooms, but we wanted to bring her. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was fantastic. This hotel was much nicer overall than a much more expensive one down the street that we normally stay in when we come to St Augustine (without our dog.) We were very happy to be able to bring our pet and are very grateful that this hotel allows it. Another nice feature was the dehumidifier in the room. On the beach, especially, the humidity is very hard to control and in other hotels, humidity and musty odor is usually a problem. This hotel has fixed that problem! Convenient beach access, nice dog walk areas, well-maintained rooms and grounds. For those of you without pets, don't worry. You'll never know that they are staying there! We highly recommend this place. We'll definitely stay here again, with or without our pet.

THe location is fantastic. THe fact that we could take our pet was outstanding. but that should not mean we had to stay in squabble! For the price we paid, there should not have been paint and dry wall peeling from our room walls, there should not have been black mold in our bathroom, and the pool facilities were extremely dirty. We realize that it is difficult to maintain a sea side building, but we expected more! we did enjoy the trip overall, we stayed on the beach and in St. Augustine most of the time, just using the room to sleep.
