I have stayed here several times over the last 11 years and this place is the best value for your dollar. Great location and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in had been remodeled, nothing fancy but clean and nice. You can walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. I do not even rent a car when I visit. This makes for a bargain trip, this way I can afford to visit often. I have never had a dirty room here or a horrible experience. If you are not looking for anything fancy, but location and cleanliness are important, I would definitly recommend this hotel. I know I will be back!

We were steps from the boardwalk and beach. The room was recently remodled and looked wonderful. Very clean. We had everything we needed. The sink was draining slowly and they fixed it ASAP. The pool was crystal clear, clean and inviting. They keep the simple continental breakfast stocked nicely. Employees were all friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 days 4 nights and felt like we were at home. With the windows open and the beach breeze drifting through it was so relaxing. They were repairing/replacing A/C units during our visit so at certain times of the day there were workers outside the window talking a little loud but they had to do their job. It's not such a huge complex that it's crowded and busy. They had no vacancies but you wouldn't know it. It was real calm. The pool was never crowded. We also got such a great price through Travel online that made it even better. We added a night to our stay and Travel online's price had gone up but the hotel matched the great price we had reserved a month before for our other nights. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

Our stay was wonderful. The desk clerk was very friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed the coffee, tea, juice and pastries for breakfast. The room was a bit dark but we spent lots of our time on the beach. Location was great, not right on the beach but a very short half a block away. It kept it a bit more private that way. Beds were comfortable, but the pillows are in need of replacement. The shower water controls were very difficult to control and hard to get to get the right combination of hot and cold water. We definitely plan to return to this location.

We always stay here when we want to get away and stay next to the beach. You can park your car and walk everywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping venues close by. This hotel is by no means a 3 star hotel. But it is clean, the people working there are friendly, and it has parking for guests. You will be hard pressed to find a more reasonable place to stay. They just put new flat screen TVs in the rooms. The rooms are good sized and comfortable enough. It can be noisey in the summer but the staff will quiet people down if they get out of hand. Great beachfront bargain...

This hotel lived up to the reviews! We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was very big and spacious and had a fridge, 2 burners and a sink which was very handy. Otherwise it was a very basic no frills hotel that suited our needs perfectly. The absolute best thing about the hotel is its location. 1/2 block walk to Pacific beach and a wonderful walkway. The neighbourhood was quiet and had lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Great value for its money and we would definitely love to stay here again!
