This was THE worst hotel experience EVER! The first day I called to request more towels, the employee told me that I had to come get them myself. I also requested that the comforter be changed bc it was that disgusting, it took them 4 hours and 2 calls later to actually do it. Every employee there was rude and could not care less about their guest. I couldn't brush my teeth in the sink w/o it clogging up because there were bugs in the drain. All the furniture in the room was chipped and old. The lights didn't work either. Infact the entire hotel was dark and grimey because hardly any of the lights were on. The elevators were either broken or being fixed. I requested a late check out and was charged $* for it. I can't get over how the employees treated me. I have never been treated like that EVER. I just checked my credit card and have been charged a few random charges by the hotel and they are unable to tell me what for. So I am disputing it with my bank as I type this. The bathrooms were so small I could have used the toilet and brush my teeth at the same time. My TV didn't work either. The restaurant wasn't open the entire 3 days I was there. The parking was a total rip off. And I still can not express how very rude and disrespectful all of the employees were. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my least favorite person in the world. Absolutely disgusted with my experience here. NEVER AGAIN.

I needed a hotel close to the port of Miami and after reading the reviews decided how bad could it be and picked this hotel for a two night stay. PLEASE TAKE HEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is absolutly horrible. Rooms and I say rooms because I was moved 3 times due to 1st room dirty....2nd room dirty and no safe and air conditioning broke 3rd room was the best as it had a safe but also air was not working, mold in bathroom and carpet ripped and torn and dirty. I tried to get out of my prepaid stay to no avail. I spoke repeatedly to front desk and nothing was done. Internet is in lobby only and you must ask for towels at front desk as we witnessed many people coming to ask as their room had none. There is one iron for the entire hotel as we witnessed each day as we were in lobby accessing internet. The restraunt was supposedly open from 7am to 11 am and we got downstairs to eat breakfast at 1015 am and it was closed and the waitress yelled at us for wanting to come in. Please PLEASE believe what I say this is a terrible terrible place and EVERYONE we talked to was unhappy with the hotel. At check out time I gave the hotel a list of all three rooms and the things that needed to be fixed and I was looked at like i was an alien from mars. Make another choice for your stay it is worth it to pay a little more.

THE WORST PERIOD!

i think the "Baites Motel" would be more ideal to stay at than this place! there is one small elevator and more than 10 floors i stayed there for 2 nights during the winter music fest and i would've have prefered the 30 mintue ride home, while it's in a great location, the rooms are tiny, the front desk people are rude and not very bright they charge you twice and want to argue instead of apologizing for their mistake check-in and out was ridiculously long...it was the worst stay ever on the what was supose to be one of the best weekends ever!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel. This is just the right hotel to stay the night before your cruise. Although there no amenities, the Bayside Market Place is just across the street where you can get good choices of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can easily enjoy the bayside view and free entertainment at the Bayside Market Place. The hotel itself may not be spotless, but for the price and location for a one night stay, it's all you need. If you arrive early, since the check-in time is at 4pm, just leave your luggage at the counter for $* each. Transportation shuttle service to the Port of Miami is only $* pp and it is only 5 minutes away. We only had to use the hotel from 11PM to 9AM as we spent most our time at Bayside. It's a short walk and lots of people around so you don't feel insecure.
