very close to the airport and restaurants, rooms are clean and the hotel has gated parking. Staff is friendly but may not be very knowledgeable about surrounding amenities. Would recommend for short stays. Price could be lower.

it was great! Everything clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the pool was full of sunshine. The last day there, a downpour occurred and the hotel kept the coffee and cappuccino going. It was very nice. The shuttle drivers are knowledgeable and the front desk help do exactly that. Help! Whether it was calling a cab or finding a store for me. I will go back without hesitation in two months.

I'm not sure what people are expecting from a Red Roof Inn - It provides the basics and does an excellent job at it. THe shuttle from the airport and to the port are well organized and timely. For the price you can't beat it!! The place was clean and all staff were friendly! I think people just need to relax..

From the time we called the hotel for the shuttle it took an hour for the shuttle to finally pick us up. The first time we called they informed us the shuttle runs on hour and half hour. Being our first time in the Miami airport, we asked where we should be standing to get picked up. The front desk informed us to stand on the second level, nothing else. We stood on the second level, and waited about 20 minutes for the half hour shuttle. We then called again to confirm the shuttle was on the way, and could barely understand the hotel staff. After not being able to understand the hotel staff at the front desk, they then hung up on my husband. I then called myself and got the same result. We finally saw the shuttle and tried to get his attention by practically standing the road and the driver, oblivious to us, kept going. We finally made it to the hotel greeted by the very unfriendly hotel staff. The front desk staff were some of the most unprofessional, rude, and apathetic I has ever seen in a hotel. Our hotel room was another issue in itself. It was very unclean, with there being hairs all over the bathroom. It was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I will never be at this hotel again.
