We stayed here for one night prior to our cruise leaving. The website makes the property look decent. When we pulled up in the cab we immediatly regretted booking at this hotel. The building was run down and property was unclean. The front door was broken and didn't close all the way. The lobby was disgusting and small. We appeared to be one of maybe 5 rooms booked. Our room was rundown and the door to our room had a gap so anything could crawl under the door. The sheets were dirty with hair on the blankets and pillow cases. The carpet was unclean and I didn't feel comfortable taking my socks off for our stay. The only place to eat was the bar which was disgusting, smoky, and unclean. We skipped breakfast and went right to the boat it was worth it. There were only a couple guests and it seemed they put us all by each other. We didn't get any sleep that night as there was a group next to us that spent the night in the bar and continued there party in their room all night. This hotel is also in the middle of no where and not a good idea if you do not have a vehicle with you, as we did not. I would never reccomend this hotel to anyone and we could not wait to get out of there.

The staff was very friendly and knowledable. Very helpful with directions and helping us get around the area. Rooms needed some work, one of the lamps didn't work in our room. Food in the lounge area was good for the value and offered a nice selection. Parking lot seemed a little dark, could be a little bighter for safety purposes. Overall the value was not bad, for a short stay not bad, could not see staying here for more than a day or two.

I stayed here the last shuttle mission (Summer 2008), booked a king sized smoking room. When I got there, the room had a queen, was handicapped, and labeled no smoking. I talked with the night manager who assured us we could smoke there, would not be charged for it, brought us an ashtray, and took away the no smoking sign when I pointed it out. Assured us it was a king bed, I'm not stupid, we have one at home, that was a queen if not a full. Room was dirty, bathroom was nasty and didn't even have towels. They would not issue a refund or partial discount. Morning manager was wearing a Best Western shirt and was apologetic but not helpful in the least. Will never stay here again.

  • do not stay here

We went to Cocoa fl. for spring training for our son. The hotel was in the perfect location for this (within walking distance) . The hotel needed up keep. The rooms appeared to be clean, but our coffee maker wasn't always cleaned out, bath room was in need of up grade, the hot water came out as a trickle. The walls and ceiling paint was peeling. There was also no place to eat or shop. there were alot of quick marts. The breakfast was ok, but when we arrived 8pm the only spot to eat was in the Bar, and I guess you can still smoke in bars, so we were very surprised, ate quickly and left we never went back. Even the Bartender was smoking. If you want to sit down and eat you have to Go to Coca Beach which was 12 miles away, Or you can go to the I Hop and Waffle house which were always packed. There was also fast food close.
