Usually Hampton Inn is a favorite choice, but not this one. The counter in the bathroom was chipped, the air stale, and the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted. The laundry room door which opened on the first floor hall stayed open all the time. The desk clerk seemed to be hustling a particular restaurant instead of trying to learn what guests wanted to eat. I heard her "sell" the same restaurant to four different groups. The breakfast waitress left the door to her kitchen open while she sat at a guest table and did a cross word puzzle, and she had a tip jar (actually a syrofoam cup) on the food bar. Very, very tacky. Please tell me that this lemon of a hotel was a fluke and that Hampton Inn is still a trusted chain.

Staying at this hotel was a true delight! The whole Hampton Inn experience was that of pure comfort and hospitality. After having an atrocious experience the night before, we were thankful for such a clean and pampering room. Everything from the cloudy soft bed linens to the pleasant staff was refreshing. The Hotel was right in the historic district and close to everything. The weather was cool but the hot tub was hot and the breakfast was just right. The price was worth every penny. The Floridames give this hotel a thumbs up!

I have no comlaints about this hotel except for one day the maid didn't furnish any glasses or soap to the room. However when I called the front desk, she brought the items to me. Wonderful service. I also like the hot breakfast. Good and plentiful.

I was very impressed with the service and the appearance of this hotel for the rate that was given. It was very clean and the staff was very polite and willing to cater to you. The customer service was almost the best that I have experienced. The rooms were spacious and well arranged. The pool area was clean and enjoyable. I expected the continental breakfast to be boring like most hotels but they exceeded my expectations. I was very surprised and satisfied. If I am in this area, I will plan to stay at this Hampton Inn.
