We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we had a great experience. The staff was helpful and courteous, there were warm cookies waiting at check in, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was average, but, for one more meal we didn't have to prepare or go out for, it was a good start to the day. There was an "evening reception" every night that featured free beer or wine and various snacks. The last night of our stay they featured lasagna, salad and rolls, so we didn't have to go out for dinner. The pool was warm and clean, our room had some older fixtures, and you could see where some spots on the wall had been patched, but it was clean, quiet, and the bed was perfect and had LOTS of pillows. On the negative side, the room was a little small, so once the sofabed was pulled out, you couldn't reach the kitchen because the bed filled the walkway. Also, we did have an experience with someone panhandling outside our building, but we called the front desk, and didn't see any more panhandlers for the rest of our stay. Also there are only a few resturants around, and the place right across the street looked grimy. The hotel was easy to get to off the freeway, and we went to the zoo and Old Sacramento and both were just a few exits away (Old Town is just one exit down). Overall I would absolutely stay again. We had a great time!

We got to our room and it had a terrible musty smell, there were stains all over the carpet and chairs. There were dirt stains and handprints all over the cabinets in the kitchen area. In the bathroom on the wall above the shower there was mold growing all over. We only got 1 bath towel and had to call the front desk to have more brought up. Later that night we were going to rent a movie and we kept clicking the "still in theaters" and nothing would show up. We called the front desk and it was turned off so they had to turn it back on. Our air conditioner kept shutting off and not turning back on. We had to mess with the switch and keep turning it off and on and finally would turn back on. All night there were loud people yelling and running up and down the hallways. The next morning we went down for breakfast and there were so many people we could hardly get thru. All of the food was out and then we tried to eat the eggs and potatoes and they weren't even edible. It was the most disgusting tasting food I have ever eaten! We will never go back again! I guess you get what you pay for....

They charged my credit card numerous times for nights I never stayed there, and they are still fighting me saying my personal card is a business card. I would NEVER stay here again for I think the place is run by thieves. The only good experience was the outstanding hispanic shuttle driver who is nice and honest. The rest of the place is a pack of thieves! When I first checked in they tried to charge someone else's room to my card and when I told her she said don't worry about it as she left my card number impressioned on the counter. Yes, I worried about it for good reason because they have used my personal card to pay for numerous rooms, etc. NEVER STAY HERE!!! They will take your money and fight you with having to credit you back. STAY AWAY!!!

We had a great room with a full kitchen and a king size bed. The food in the morning was great and it was a hot breakfast every morning, not just fruit and muffins. Although they had that as well. The staff was very nice, and helped us in whatever way they could. We asked for a quiet room and thats what we got. We were told if you want a full kitchen you need to ask for one, otherwise you will get a kitchenette. They are both the same price, its just a matter of preferance. We will definately stay again at this hotel when we are in Sacramento. It was only 1 exit away from old Sacramento,(well worth going to see) and very easy freeway access. We were not sorry we went here. It was a great stay.

They charged my credit card for nights after I had already checked out, when I caught it they admitted to it and said they would put it back. It was my travel money for school the following week...to this date they still have not returned my money and it left me with no money for a room the next week. They were very rude about the whole thing and the manager was NEVER there and never returned any of my messages. When I went in and told them I couldn't rent a room anywhere else cause they still had a hold on all my funds they stole and asked them to atleast rent me a room so I had somewhere to sleep..they said they couldn't because the credit card was declined even though it was declined because they had my money. DO NOT GO THERE!~ It was noisy, the dinner buffet consisted of what looked like 3day old enchiladas and beans a a bag of lettuce...that was it! The only thing Good about the place was the beds were soft (But what good was it when it was too noisy to get any sleep) and they had one good employee who tried to help but he was hitting the walls at every turn and getting as frustrated as I was. In a 6 day period I had to exchange my key 16 times!! It seems like they only work once and stop. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! BEWARE!!!
