Front desk clerk was efficient and friendly. The room was smaller than expected, but was clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful with directions to all the sights that we wanted to see. One major problem was that the pool was not maintained well enough for us to use it. Not filthy but should have been cleaned daily. The restaurant had very affordable prices, but service from the kitchen was very slow. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and would gladly stay again.

I will say that i was pleasantly surprised to find this Hotel on Travel Website and i got a great deal and for the money it was an enjoyable stay. Clean rooms and beds, sufficient ammenities, close to all the attractions and friendly staff. The restaraunt and bar was very good as well. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. I would stay here again!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE....NEVER AGAIN
12/06/2009First when we got there they never found one of the reservations...it is not a walking distancehotel from attractions...you need a car....the next morning after we came ...
FIRST WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY NEVER FOUND ONE OF THE RESERVATIONS...IT IS NOT A WALKING DISTANCEHOTEL FROM ATTRACTIONS...YOU NEED A CAR....THE NEXT MORNING AFTER WE CAME FROM BREAKFAST WE WENT BACK TO THE HOTEL SO I CAN LAY DOWN BECAUSE I WAS IN PAIN, WHEN MY HUSBAND OPEN THE BEDROOM DOOR THERE WAS ALREADY A LADY STAYING IN OUR ROOM. CHECKOUT IS AT NOON AND WAS ONLY 11 O'CLOCK. CAN YOU IMAGINE IF I AM NOT WITH MY HUSBAND ALL THE THINGS THAT IT COULD OF HAPPENED? WE WENT DOWN TO FRONT DESK AND THE LADY SAID THAT SHE APOLOGIZED BUT SHE THOUGHT THAT WE LEFT EARLY. SHE DID NOT KNOW WHERE THE PERSON THAT CLEANED THE ROOM WAS, WHERE SOME OF MY BELONGINGS WERE, THE MANAGER NEVER SHOWED UP OR ANSWER UOR CALLS. THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CALLED I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY FOUND MY PERSONAL PILLOW BUT THEY NEEDED MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO MAIL IT TO ME. WE CALLED TRAVEL ONLINE AND THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING...AFTER OUR COMPLAIN THE MANAGER LEFT A MESSAGE IN MY CELL PHONE SAYING THAT THE PILLOW WAS GOING TO BE DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE AND THAT THEY REFUND MY MONEY...

The location is great and parking is free, so you can walk anywhere in the St. Augustine historic district. The walls at this hotel are paper thin and you can hear conversations and noise from neighboring rooms 24-7. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The carpet felt a bit spongy. The bathroom was fine and it was clean.

This is one of the best investments I have ever made on vacation. The room was mostly clean. The bed was unbelievably comfy. It felt like sleeping in a cloud and the shower had great water pressure. Watch your step though because the tubs are a little slick from the soft water. The staff was extremely friendly. Both check-in and check-out were fast and simple. Even though the hotel lacks in looks the distance from the Historic District makes the stay worth while. There is a small restaurant downstairs but the hotel is also right next door to a Denny's and only a short walk from several restaurants. All in all a fantastic weekend and very good place for the price I paid. Oh, you may want to bring your own towels because theirs tends to feel like sandpaper.
